Town Planners design and develop the built environment considering land use, air, water, and infrastructure (such as transportation, housing, and community services). Data science and mathematical modelling are needed for exploring population growth, geographic mapping and analysis, analyzing park space, surveying the water supply, identifying transportation patterns, recognizing food supply demands, allocating healthcare and social services, and analyzing the impact of land use.
