Environmental engineers are responsible for ensuring the resilience and sustainability of our natural ecosystems and urban environments. Data science and mathematical modelling are needed to extract and communicate deep insights from data on the current state of the environment and the expected impact from different management strategies. This includes monitoring and controling environmental conditions, and identify and manage risks.

Insight has significant experience with the science and engineering sector. Insight CEO, Dr Mark Griffin, serves on the Gold Coast committee for Engineers Australia. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science and Mathematics), Bachelor of Computer Engineering (Honours), is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, and a Certified Professional with the Australian Computer Society.
