Insight provides a range of consulting and training services in Finite Element Modelling.

A good example of Finite Element Modelling from our current work at Insight concerns the motion of the heart during a medical imaging scan. The motion of the heart is affected by numerous conditions that cause a hardening or softening of the affected tissue. Medical images can be used to create biophysical models of heart motion, and the corresponding stress and strain experienced at each location through the heart.
