Civil Engineers plan, design, and supervise the construction and maintenance of building and infrastructure projects (including facilities, bridges, roads, tunnels, and water and sewage systems). Data science and mathematical modelling are needed to extract and communicate deep insights from proposed prototypes, to monitor and control real-time use of facilities, and to identify and manage risks as early as possible.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science and Mathematics), Bachelor of Computer Engineering (Honours), is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, and a Certified Professional with the Australian Computer Society.
